Morning Wish

Soon,

Too soon,

I’ll fall into the day

Become all I must become to navigate its folds.

I came for that –

I don’t begrudge the joy in it.

But

Just for a moment or two,

By will if it must be so,

By chance if I allow myself to receive,

Let me be more.

Let me touch into the great plane of Being

And bathe in its light

Flow into it like lightning-struck sand turned to glass

And as I look through the window of myself

Let me see my own radiant knowing.
